Maika Makovski will take the stage at Tomavistas 2025, presenting her new and highly acclaimed album, “Bunker Rococo”.

Much has been said about Maika Makovski, and much more will be. A truly multidisciplinary artist, her musical talent, wide range of influences, and relentless creative search make her one of the most unique and compelling names in today’s music scene.

Starting her career at just 20 years old, she has continued to reinvent herself with every album, now boasting eight releases under her belt. Her previous album, “MKMK” (2021), was a huge success with both audiences and critics, earning a spot on nearly every “Best of the Year” list, and winning the MIN and +Música awards for Best Rock Album.

Now, as she approaches twenty years since her debut, Maika released “Bunker Rococo” in 2024—an album she herself describes as the most defining of her career so far. Once again, it has made a strong impact on 2024’s Best Albums lists in the specialized press.

This new studio album was recorded in Bristol, at The Playpen studio, with production by Ali Chant, who had previously collaborated on Maika’s self-titled album and “Chinook Wind”—both produced by the legendary John Parish.

Maika already played a Tomavistas Extra show in 2021, but in 2025, she completes this special connection by making her official debut at Tomavistas Festival—at the absolute peak of her career.
