María José Llergo will take the stage at Tomavistas 2025, bringing Ultrabelleza, her latest album, to life in a spectacular performance.

Born in Pozoblanco in 1994, María José Llergo is far more than just Spain’s rising flamenco star—she is an undeniable force, as solid as her innate ability to move and stir emotions through an uncompromising artistic vision. She naturally bridges tradition and modernity, making flamenco’s universal essence accessible to all audiences. Her music is an ever-evolving renewal, shaped by an adventurous spirit that constantly seeks new challenges in unexplored sonic territories.

A multidisciplinary artist—she sings, composes, and plays various instruments—Llergo has been in constant growth since her breakthrough in 2018 with “Niña de las Dunas”. She soon caught international attention with her COLORS session, a prestigious platform that has also hosted artists like Dua Lipa and Jorja Smith, turning her music into a global phenomenon. She then released her EP “Sanación”, where she blended flamenco with ambient electronic textures while paying homage to her roots.

In “Ultrabelleza”, her latest album, resilience and perseverance take center stage, radiating a sense of joyful self-discovery. It’s a vital rebirth, fueled by empowerment and artistic maturity, where she fearlessly experiments and reinvents traditional sounds. The album is boldly eclectic, fusing a sophisticated explosion of musical influences with love and empathy as its guiding principles for personal and artistic evolution.

Her talent and stellar trajectory have earned her a Goya award (2022) for “Te espera el mar”,  Ojo Crítico 2023 (RNE) award as Best New Talent, and a Tiny Desk session, amassing over 500,000 views.
