Caribou Tomavistas Concert

Caribou will play Tomavistas as his only concert in Madrid in 2025. After nine years without playing in our city, Caribou is back to present his recently-released eighth studio album entitled “Honey”.

After a long wait, Caribou, the main project of Canadian Dan Snaith, returned in 2024 with a great reception of their eighth studio work entitled “Honey“. The wait has been also long to see him live in Madrid, as he has not visited us since 2016. Tomavistas will be one of only two places in our country where Caribou will perform live presenting his new work. The chosen place to enter his non-stop dance machine.

Caribou is one of the greatest geniuses of contemporary electronic music and has handled styles at will such as downtempo, dream pop, psychedelia, UK club sounds, krautrock or house, among many others. He began releasing his colorful songs in the early 2000s as Manitoba, a name he had to abandon in order to reissue his first two albums in 2004, “Star Breaking My Heart” (2001) and “Up in Flames”(2003), already under the name Caribou.

Then came “The Milk of Human Kindness” (2005), “Andorra” (2007), “Swim” (2010), which includes two of his greatest hits “Odessa” and “Sun”. Then came “Our Love” (2015), with the singles “Our Love” and “Can’t Do Without You”; and “Suddenly” (2020) with “You and I” or “Ravi”. A collection of albums, attitudes and songs that have earned him respect as one of the fundamental pillars of world electronic music.

We believe that “Honey” (2024) is the most complete, impressive and danceable album of his entire career. A collection of hits from start to finish that, in our opinion (and that of specialized press that are already praising it in the lists of the best of this year), makes it his best album so far. His definitive work. Therefore, at Tomavistas we feel very lucky because it is now the best possible time to enjoy him live.
