Parquesvr Tomavistas Concert

Paquesvr will be at Tomavistas in their only concert in Madrid in 2023 presenting their second album: “Si no fuera por estos momentos, sería por otros” (2022).

It seems silly or obvious, but it is not. Much of what happens in relation with Parquesvr seems like it, but in reality, there is much more behind this five-piece from Madrid.

Parquesvr was formed in 2019 and in just four years they have already released two albums: “Talego Quini” (2019) and “Si no fuera por estos momentos, sería por otros” (2022), in addition to some quite noteworthy singles such as “Pero” or “Satisfyer,” both in 2020. All of this has made them one of the most interesting groups from Madrid in recent years, gradually managing to win more and more people over to their songs and their concerts.

With their last work, Parquesvr take a very important step forward to remove labels and automatisms from the poorly understood “Spanish rock,” to swing through their own humor, caustic reflection, chaotic and cathodic song and the philosophy of wire. With it, they present a setlist that starts from the most scorching rock to approach to flamenco and alternative pop, electro-pop, cumbia, psychedelia, hardcore-rap or the most fiery punk. An album recorded at the end of 2021 in Seville, at Grabaciones en La Mina, under the production of Raúl Pérez, who helped shape a sound with echoes ranging from Beastie Boys to Triana, from Sleaford Mods to Los Chichos, from Rage Against the Machine to Rosendo, from Ketama to Manola Kabezabolo. If it weren’t for this record, it wouldn’t be for another, believe us. A masterpiece of interesting rock.
