Jimena Amarillo will be at Tomavistas officially presenting her third album, which will be released in the early 2025.

Jimena Amarillo has become an icon and inspiration of the new pop scene in our country. Her songs – like her concerts – are a fusion of emotions and music of the most diverse kinds that always sound like Jimena Amarillo, with her very own lyrics that are truly pure pop realism.

She has released many singles and two albums so far: “Como decirte, mi amor” (2021), and “La pena no es fácil” (2023). In early 2025 her third album will be released and with it, it will come the official album presentation at Tomavistas 2025. She’s back at the festival after her opening concert in Tomavistas 2023.

She has just published the first single from her next album and that what she says about it: “’Flow Deskiciada’ is the first preview of an album in which, apart from ballads and my usual cutesy stuff, I have gone more crazy than ever and I have allowed myself to speak more lightly, using the slang that I like the most and taking other paths, getting more fully into queer… in case it was not clear that I am a lesbian, I’d like to remember it.”

Jimena Amarillo stands out in the new Spanish pop scene made by young, self-sufficient and spontaneous beginners who naturally mix influences and genres. The key to her success is her sincerity, the empathetic way of telling her joys, sorrows and love stories and how easy it is to identify with her experiences. Romanticism straight to the heart. And because of all of this, she has definitely become an icon of the LGTBI community and artists like C. Tangana point to her as one of the most admired artists of the moment.
