Depresión Sonora Tomavistas Concert
Depresión Sonora will present his new songs at Tomavistas while reviewing his meteoric career full of great hits.
Marcos Crespo was born in Vallecas in 1997. The biographical note is not a simply whim: the themes of his songs explore the concerns of a twenty-something from the suburbs as he goes through the emotional turbulence of the stage of life he faces. When talking about the music itself, he draws on post-punk from past decades, but his discourse x-rays a present that is his own and that of an entire generation that is tired, anxious and pushed without an alternative to hyperproductivism. His lyrics have an archival value, a testimony of his own time.
Surely, this explains the early success of Depresión Sonora in Spain but also in Mexico and its consolidation in our country, its presence at Coachella this year and its third visit to Tomavistas after playing Tomavistas Extra in 2022 and Tomavistas in 2023. Now is the time for a third one in Tomavistas 2025 as a result of our devotion to his music.
His career is marked by the milestones of publishing formats as special as singles and EPs, including: “Depresión Sonora” (2020), “Historias tristes para dormir bien” (2021), “Makinavaja” (2024). Along the way, it came “El arte de morir muy despacio” (2022), his debut in LP format, which was a complete success. After all of this, he is already working on new material for 2025.
Tomavistas will be the place and time to listen for the first time his new songs as well as to review his meteoric career full of great hits with millions of streams and views such as “Ya no hay verano”, “Gasolina y mechero”, “Tú no me tienes que salvar”, “Hasta que llega la muerte” or “mala”. Tomavistas will be his first concert in Madrid after almost a year, so the moment to see him will be the best possible again.
They will also be at Tomavistas Festival 2025...
