Kelly Lee Owens Tomavistas Live

31st May, 2025

Kelly Lee Owens will perform at Tomavistas 2025 with her full live show, presenting her stunning new album Dreamstate in what will be her official debut in Madrid.

Kelly is a producer, composer and electronic bassist from Wales, UK. After learning bass and drums at a young age, she was inspired to start making dance music while working in London record stores. Her music reflects deep intimacy, often built around layered vocals and distinctive rhythms, exploring a wide range of moods — from minimal soundscapes and distant voices to powerful club beats.

Her self-titled debut album in 2017 was one of the year’s most essential releases — an impeccable work that was both emotionally evocative and rhythmically propulsive. It marked the arrival of a singular new talent and was voted one of the best albums of the year by outlets like The Guardian, Mixmag, Vogue and Pitchfork.

Following a string of incredible remixes for artists like St. Vincent, Jenny Hval, and more recently, her idol Björk (with a powerful rework of Arisen My Senses), Owens expanded her global presence in 2018 with festival appearances across Europe and a US tour including Pitchfork Festival Chicago and Capitol Hill Block Party Seattle. She ended that year supporting Jon Hopkins in London and Manchester — a collaboration that later evolved into the joint single Luminous Spaces in 2019.

Since then, Kelly has toured extensively and appeared on major festival lineups worldwide, releasing three critically acclaimed albums: Inner Song (2020), LP.8 (2022), and Dreamstate at the end of 2024. She also composed Unity, the official anthem of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

We believe Dreamstate is her finest, most danceable work to date. Her set at Tomavistas promises to be a milestone moment for fans of elegant and dreamlike electronic music.
