Cariño Concert Tomavistas

Cariño will present their new album in Madrid in May at Tomavistas with a show in which they promise a lot of pop and a lot of love.

Cariño are Paola, María and Alicia. They became known for their acclaimed first single “Canción de pop de amor” and for getting a cover version of “Llorando en la limo” by C. Tangana. A song they turned into a work that reflects the reality in which they live: one in which people do not go in Ferraris, not in limousines, but in vespinos.

A pop trio that was born like so many other relationships in these times: thanks to apps to flirt and meet new people. Starting from this point, this already places them directly as a natural band of our time. No need to pretend. Cariño are a band from here and now. It has been this way from the very first moment they appeared on the Madrid underground board. Their songs succeeded so quickly that placed them as one of the best examples of independent pop in our country. Cariño talk about relationships in these modern times in which leaving a message on seen can have more interpretations than we can imagine. Cariño are your friends and you talking on a Friday night about everything and nothing at the same time while having a good time. Always having a good time.

In November 2018 they released their first album, Movidas (Elefant Records), which they presented a few months later at Tomavistas 2019. An album that included the already classics “Bisexual” and “Mierda seca”, songs considered hymns by their audience that already have millions of streams. With their first album they achieved unanimous outstanding by critics, public and promoters (they were even confirmed for Coachella), and with their latest EP, X si mejas en visto (Sonido Muchacho, 2020) they once again proved how good they are creating pop and they claim the status that belongs to them on their own merits.

In 2022 their long-awaited second album will be out. They will officially present it in the sixth edition of Tomavistas. An album with which they will surely win us over again. Because if Cariño know how to do something very well, it is to create the perfect melodies and choose the exact words to compose those songs that, without talking about you directly, are a perfect reflection of your life with your ups and downs.
