Tomavistas Festival 2022
May 19-21, 2022
Jungle are back. British producer duo formed by Josh Lloyd-Watson and Tom McFarland return this August with a brand new album: ‘Loving In Stereo’. This third work is likely to become the soundtrack to a summer quite unlike any other. While everyone watched how everything get complicated last year and had to live a “lockdown life”, the duo locked themselves too, but in a studio instead of a home and now the result have emerged, delivering a huge dancefloor record for the post-social distancing age, with a life-affirming, sun-kissed celebration of all the things that make music joyful. Because if Jungle know something, it is how to make people dance.
Jungle hit the world in 2014 with a self-titled debut album that changed the rules of the game when it came to funk, soul and disco music. They made a great entrance into music industry with their Mercury Prize nomination for their gold-certified debut album, but that was only the beginning. A first step for everything that has come after: world tours, sold out gigs in the UK, USA and Europe, and acclaimed performances at some of the biggest festivals in the world like Coachella, Primavera Sound or Lollapalooza.
Now it is time of Tomavistas. They will headline this year’s edition with their only appearance in festivals in our country in 2022 to present officially “Loving In Stereo”, an album that we are sure will take them to the next level, because with Jungle there is always more. They are ready to turn Madrid into a big and elegant dance floor and we cannot wait for this. As one of their fans wrote after seeing their performance at Glastonbury in 2019: “It should be illegal to be that cool”.
