Sidonie Tomavistas Concert

Sidonie will be at Tomavistas with their only show in the Community of Madrid in 2023, presenting exclusively their long-awaited 10th album and celebrating their more than 20-year career.

This will be a long-awaited reunion nine years after they played Tomavistas for the first time as headliners in our first edition. We needed to find the best moment to see each other again, and what better than 2023 in which Tomavistas returns to its physical and emotional origins.

Sidonie are ready to release their 10th album with a huge challenge: to offer something with an entity that can be remembered and be different within a varied and long discography as theirs. The truth is that the last time they were in a similar scenario, the Barcelona trio published “El Regreso de Abba” and it ended up working really well.

This fact would be reason enough to trust Axel Pi, Jesús Senra and Marc Ros. Since they published “Costa Azul” back in 2007, all their works are based on a concept that sets the tone of the album. This was also the case with its successors: “El Incendio”, “El Fluido García”, and “Sierra y Canadá”. “Estáis aquí”, the song from their last album that built the strongest connection with their fans, made them to realize what would be the nature of their following work, “El Peor Grupo del Mundo”.

Sidonie is a band with a strong ethic when performing. From those first gigs in which at certain moments of the show they appeared with costumes to present their debut album, “Sidonie”, to the present. Now it’s time for main stages and sold-out venues. This success has even led them to become the guest band to open the last concert of The Rolling Stones in Spain.

It is difficult to determine when they became one of the greatest Spanish rock bands. In their works we find outstanding and immediate pop, electronic sequences, heavy rock, psychedelia and surreal lyrics. Sidonie have made constant change a virtue and that’s why they are one of the most stimulating bands to follow. An unknown mystery and at the same time a safe bet.
