La Femme Tomavistas Concert

La Femme will be at Tomavistas presenting “Teatro Lúcido” in their only date in festivals in Madrid in 2023.

La Femme is a French psych-punk rock band created by keyboardist Sacha Got and guitarist Marlon Magnée in Biarritz in 2010. The group’s music is described as synthetic and hypnotic, influenced by The Velvet Underground and Kraftwerk with a combination of cold wave, punk, yéyé and surf music.

La Femme released their first EP in 2010. After 13 years of existence and the publication of three albums: “Psycho Tropical Berlin” in 2013, “Mystère” in 2016 and “Paradigmes” in 2021, the band released their 4th album in 2022 entitled “Teatro Lúcido”.

“Teatro Lúcido” is performed entirely in Spanish. The album is a travel diary inspired by trips to Hispanic countries (Spain/Mexico). This work is an explosive cocktail born from international adventures and inspired by the Holy Week processions, the pasodoble, reggaeton and Brazilian rhythms, classical guitars, Andalusian rhythms, castanets, trumpets or the 80s Madrid scene La Movida .

At the beginning of 2023, La Femme presented this album with two sold out shows in Madrid (La Riviera) and Barcelona (Razzmatazz 2) and now they return to Tomavistas to continue their tour in which, in addition to the great songs from this album such as “Sacatela” or “Cha-cha” or “Fugue Italienne”, we will enjoy also their great hits from previous albums like “Où va le monde,” “Sur la Planche 2013” or “Antitaxi”.
