Metronomy Tomavistas Concert

Metronomy will be at Tomavistas with one of their few performances in Spain in 2023. They will present their wonderful album “Small World” (2022) along with their great list of hits in their only performance in Madrid in 2023, after an acclaimed sold out show at La Riviera last year, selling out all the tickets months before.

Over the last 17 years Metronomy have become one of the most interesting and respected bands within the UK, but also in the rest of Europe.

With their seven albums released to date, they have starred in the covers of Loud & Quiet, DIY, Crack, NME, Guardian Guide and played sold-out shows at iconic and historic venues including Brixton Academy, Somerset House, The Royal Albert Hall and Alexandra Palace. They have also headlined the Park Stage in Glastonbury, Field Day in London or the Green Man and End of the Road festivals. In addition, their third album, “The English Riviera,” was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize in 2012 and in the United States they have even toured as the guest band of Coldplay.

In Spain his career is also faultless and they are at the level of one of the most recognized and admired bands for quite some time now. Such is their status in our country that even Pedro Almodóvar chose them to be part of the soundtrack of his film “I’m So Excited!”, selecting one of their songs to be the theme that closed the film. At Tomavistas, how could it be otherwise, they will be the undeniable headliners in 2023, making us fly with a collection of vibrant themes such as “Holiday,” “The Bay,” “The Look,” “Love Letters,” “Everything Goes My Way,” “Corinne” or “Love Factory” with their famous and elegant sound that will surely take us to the most special and spatial place in the history of the festival.
