Bodega, the band from New York, will be in Tomavistas with the official presentation of their fourth album that will be released in early 2024.

Bodega are the best kept secret of the New York post-punk scene. On rare occasions they have crossed the pond and although the band was formed in 2014, releasing their first full-length album “Endless Scroll” in 2018 (produced by Austin Brown from Parquet Courts), they have barely been seen in our country. So, their appearance in Tomavistas is a great rarity that we definitely should celebrate.

The musical roots of the quintet formed by Ben Hozie, Nikki Belfiglio, Dan Ryan, Adam See, and Adam Shumski come from the depths of the streets of their city in a quite latent way: from The Velvet Underground, Television, Talking Heads or ESG to LCD Soundsystem or Parquet Courts. All of this played through a very personal perspective that sounds fresh and substantial.

Their comeback in 2024 is highly anticipated because with it they may finally take the big leap in Europe that they really deserve and Tomavistas will be there to help them with it.
