Joe Goddard Concert Tomavistas

Joe Goddard, founding member of Hot Chip, will be at Tomavistas with his solo project which he will take back to the stages in 2024. It will be a very special date where he will show us his magic playing his electronic masterpieces mixing house and pop.

If we speak about Joe Goddard, we are speaking about a key figure of British dance and indie music through his large number of bands and collaborative projects, his live shows and festival appearances, his production and songwriting credits, his remixes and solo singles, as well as his DJ sets. He has released eight albums with his best-known project: Hot Chip, two with The 2 Bears and one with HARD FEELINGS. He has produced songs with Franz Ferdinand and Bernard Sumner; he collaborated with Jarvis Cocker and Peter Gabriel; he remixed Jessie Ware, Kraftwerk, New Order, Disclosure and The Chemical Brothers; he released the untouchable 2011 hit “Gabriel” with Valentina; and co-wrote Katy Perry’s “Into Me You See”. Throughout his career he has been nominated for two Grammy Awards and the Mercury Prize.

With this summary we need to contextualize the significance of his appearance in Tomavistas: it will be his first show at a big festival in Madrid where he will present his first two albums “Harvest Festival” and “Electric Lines” as well as new songs not published yet.
