The history of Uniforms begins back in 2016, in Jaén. Two of its components Pan Castellano (drums) and Natalia Spingel (guitar) began to make music together without being too clear about their style, but sharing a love for noise, shoegaze, psychedelia, garage and rock in general. Later came Laura Alva (bass) and Annie from Málaga, who apart from becoming the voice of the group, she also added synths to the band giving it a deeper air between dreampop and electronic music.
During the summer of 2018, after the departure of Laura, the group became a trio formed by Annie, Natalia and Pan. With this new formation they entered the studio to record their first album ‘Polara’, recorded in La Casa and produced by Will Castellano. ‘Polara’ was published in 2018 by the record label Oso Polita and has positioned them as a very particular band between the darkness and the brightness to travel to the depths of ethereal sounds.
