Friendly Fires

The British band that debuted in 2008 with its homonymous album “Friendly Fires” and that turned out to be a real smash hit for the dance floors, winning several awards, a gold record, and a success between critics and audience, comes back after 7 years of silence since ‘Pala’ (2011), and a long retirement from the stages.

In 2018 they promised a new album which is delayed and that will be released in April of 2019. For the moment, they have already presented two tracks from it which have become two of the best songs of their career: “Love like waves” and “Heaven let me in”. The latter is half composed with Disclosure and shows an evolution that we still do not know where it will take them once the album is finished, but it suggests a collection of songs that will not go unnoticed.

The band played some concerts in 2018 highlighting their sold out in just a few minutes at Brixton Academy in London. This took them to festivals like All Points East, Nos Alive, BBK Live, Mad Cool or Lollapalooza showing that they stay fit and will make hits like “Paris”, “Skeleton Boy” or “Jump in the pool” compatible with their new songs on performances full of colors and dances.

They have chosen Tomavistas as the only concert in Spain in 2019 to premiere their new show and their new album.
