Fifteen years of career go a long way. In the case of Dorian, they have made the most of these years recording six studio albums that have positioned them as one of the most important national bands to understand the independent music scene of the last two decades in our country as well as setting their own evolution in an honest way and attending to the needs of their three founders: Marc Gili, Belly Hernández and Bart Sanz.
In the beginning, they decided to undertake a project whose sound combined elements of the 80s new wave with electronic music from the 90s and 2000s. Thus, bands such as Radio Futura, Décima Víctima, New Order, The Cure, Depeche Mode, The Chameleons or The Postal Service were among the first influences of the band and according to their most successful songs throughout these years, the formula remains alive and with remarkable effect and success among an increasingly wide audience as they demonstrated in their three sold outs shows in La Riviera in Madrid in November 2018. More than 6,000 people attended to these three concerts presenting their most recent album “Justicia Unversal”, an album that made them go on a long tour during 2018 and 2019.
The band is in the process of composing their seventh album that is likely to be released in 2021. Meanwhile, during 2020 they will make some special shows with most of their greatest hits. In Madrid there will be only one chance to see and enjoy them and this single date will be on May 21 at Tomavistas.
