Deerhunter are an unclassifiable group that explore pop, post-punk and psychedelia from a factory of undeniable anthems since 2001. Bradford Cox is a genius that besides giving life to this band located in Atlanta has maintained other parallel projects such as Atlas Sound.
Deerhunter have published up to date seven albums and in January 2019 will come the eighth one under the descriptive title of “Why Has not Everything Already Disappeared?”. An album co-produced by Cate Le Bon and that is awaited with great expectation as it has been almost 4 years since the acclaimed “Fading Frontier” which set the bar very high as Bradford Cox was described as one of the best American composers of the last two decades, signed by magical and once-in-a-lifetime gigs. According to what was heard on their first single from the new album titled “Death in Mindsummer”, with that intro of clavichord (played by Cate Le Bon herself), we are facing another art show in a state of grace.
Tomavistas will be the first place in Spain where they will present their new album and Madrid will once again enjoy their songs. Something that does not happen since 2011 (La Riviera), when their last visit took place and which some will remember as a great apotheosis of rock and psychedelia of which we keep a pleasant memory..
