Adiós Amores Concert Tomavistas

Iman Amar and Ana Valladares, with the help of Guille Briales, make Adiós Amores a real project. A project that is the national pop best kept secret (until now) and which will be present in Tomavistas for the first time in 2024.

They have been surprising everyone who listen to them since the end of 2019. You just need to listen to “Charlotte” and “La Fuente”, their first two singles recorded in La Mina studio with Raúl Pérez, to realize that if there is one thing they have, it is clear ideas. In the first one, we find undeniable echoes of their admired Jeanette and the catchy yeyés melodies of other idols such as France Gall and Françoise Hardy. On the other hand, in the second one, they surprise us with those vibrant guitars like those of The Shadows. There will also be people who could find in their lyrics that affection that Adiós Amores confess to feeling for the Spanish copla and its quereles or the admiration that the band show for Lole y Manuel, whom they do not hesitate to put on the same pedestal as their psychedelic gods Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Flaming Lips, and The Electric Prunes.

In 2020 during the pandemic, Adiós Amores decided to publish their new songs in separate 7” singles with Snap! Clap! Club! label from Barcelona. The first three are already sold out and in 2022 they compiled them in a 12” titled “Sus Mejores Canciones”, in which they added two new songs. This compilation was chosen as Album of the Month by the legendary record store Monorail (Glasgow, UK).

In 2023 they published “El Camino” with the label Sonido Muchacho. They have been very successful with every step they have taken, being present in most of the lists of the best albums of 2023. “El Camino” has all the essence of their project, but with an unusual transcendence and that remind us about bands like La Femme, who were with us in 2023. So, get ready because their show at Tomavistas will be unforgettable.
